Tyburn Foundation

2025

South Africa / Italy / London

Tyburn Foundation’s 2025 communications strategy is rooted in its mission to build a more vibrant and inclusive global art ecosystem by championing contemporary African artists through residencies, exhibitions, and long-term support.

Building on the legacy of Tyburn Gallery (2015–2019)—a London-based incubator known for launching the international careers of emerging and mid-career African artists—the Foundation continues its commitment in a slower-paced, artist-first model from its base in Umbria, Italy. This new phase prioritises depth over speed, offering artists the space, time, and tailored support not always possible in commercial settings.

The 2025 campaign will highlight the Foundation’s evolution from gallery to global connector, emphasising its long-term vision through a multi-channel approach: curated press engagement, strategic partnerships, artist-led storytelling, and key moments aligned with major art world events. The communications plan amplifies Tyburn’s unique position—bridging continents, building community, and investing in creative futures.
